Refurbishment of Existing Building toward a Surplus Energy Building in Jordan

Introduction: Energy consumption rates in residential buildings rely heavily on the modularity of construction. Methods: Traditional building models Jordan are considered dominant which modern technology is not taken into account order to reduce energy consumption. Recently, interest construction schemes has appeared with intention saving because its high costs. The objective this research help convert a Amman one that generates more than it needs what known as surplus buildings.Several retrofit systems were for purpose, including insulation, water heating, lighting, air recycling, and photovoltaic systems. This work was handled through detailed calculation based basic fundamental each subsystem used refurbishment process. using refurbishing techniques, estimated payback period found 5.08 years all integrated Results: started closer look at reality use sector reports provided by Ministry National Electricity Company. Conclusion: Afterward, study sample decided be home city - Jordan, then several suggestions improving verifying ways conserve discussed.
